You’re building something that matters.

I’m here to help you build it with intention.

I’m Laura, builder behind hyLINE.

I run a creative studio based in Eastern Idaho. My work lives at the intersection of ideas and execution — helping founders and builders take something that exists in their head and turn it into something real.

Brands. Homes. Products. Systems.

Over the years I’ve worked alongside small business owners, builders, and entrepreneurs who care deeply about what they’re creating. What I’ve learned is simple:

Good ideas aren’t the hard part.
Finishing them is.

The work that matters takes time. It takes clarity. It takes alignment.

That’s where I come in.

What I Actually Do

I help people think things through and then build them properly.

Sometimes that means starting from scratch — shaping a brand, building a website, designing a product, or helping guide the direction of a new build.

Sometimes it means stepping into something that already exists and bringing structure to it. Tightening the vision. Simplifying the systems. Making the decisions that move the project forward.

Either way, the goal is the same.

Take the idea seriously.
Build it well.
Finish it.

The Road That Led To Here

I’ve always been drawn to the work behind the scenes — the structure, the decisions, and the execution that actually makes something work.

Long before hyLINE existed, I was the person organizing things, improving systems, and helping bring big ideas to life.

In high school I helped organize a 1,700-person festival for kids with special needs. Later I coordinated mission trips to Appalachia where I earned the nickname “Details.”

After college I spent 17 years helping build and run a multi-million-dollar real estate team.

That experience taught me something important.

Ideas are easy.
Building them well is where the real work happens.

There was a commercial in the 90s for BASF that stuck with me.

“We don’t make the products you buy. We make the products you buy better.”

That’s always felt like a pretty accurate description of what I do.

The Move West

In 2023, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.

That mountain wrecked me in the best possible way.

Standing there, I knew it was time for a new chapter.

After nearly two decades helping build someone else’s business, I handed over the reins, sold my house, packed up my life, and moved 2,000 miles west to Eastern Idaho.

I bought a few acres with mountain views, built a home, and started over.

hyLINE grew out of that reset — a return to creativity combined with everything I’ve learned about building businesses, systems, and projects that actually work.

Life Outside The Studio

Most mornings start with coffee and a watercolor journal — a practice I picked up recently that helps ground the day before work begins.

I try not to work many Fridays if I can help it. Those days are usually reserved for time outside in the mountains. Hiking, exploring, or sometimes just sitting on a rock somewhere thinking about life and the next thing I want to build.

Photography is still part of my life too. I was given my first camera — a Polaroid — when I was about seven years old, and I’ve been looking at the world through a lens ever since.

Who I Work Best With

The people I work best with care deeply about what they’re building.

They’re founders, builders, and small business owners who aren’t looking for shortcuts. They want to do the work well. They want their ideas to hold up.

Usually they’re at a point where the vision is there — they just need a partner who can help bring clarity, structure, and execution to the next phase.

If that sounds like you, we’ll probably get along just fine.

Real ideas.
Real execution.
Real outcomes.

That’s what we’re building here.
